Texans behind on their rent are at increasing risk of losing their homes despite a federal moratorium on evictions, according to housing attorneys, because a Texas Supreme Court order aimed at forestalling evictions has expired.

BILLINGS â After a wild winter of planning, Jon and Karen Switzer plan to launch a new business in Billings called Roots Garden Center, that the couple said they hope to be more than just a flower shop.
âThereâs a saying that, âthe best time to plant a tree is yesterday. And the second best time is today.â When we moved into the neighborhood, because weâre close by, and we saw the space and we were invited to participate in the idea of this vision, think we both looked at each other and we were able to go, âthis is kind of crazy, but lets plant our roots here, Jon told MTN News in late March.

Sometimes there is just so much news of which “Saturday Night Live” wants to make fun the NBC late-night sketch show needs to cram a lot of commentary into one sketch. Thankfully, earlier in Season 46 they found a way to do so with “Oops You Did It Again,” a fictional talk show hosted by Britney Spears (played by Chloe Fineman) that examines the week’s “pariahs” to determine if they’re “not that innocent.” And on the April 3 show they brought it back to weigh in on Lil Nas X, Pepé Le Pew and Rep. Matt Gaetz.
